Fun with keys!

One of my best sellers lately in my Etsy shop has been keys. I have sold all sorts of varieties...
skeleton
and the rusty, crusty kind...




I loved this set and probably should have kept it, but now they have a new home!



Simple, yet pretty all the same.


And one of my favorite uses for them is to add a special look to my repurposed jewelry designs.











I think they add such a special touch!



I have really found some great collections of old keys in the past and have really been on the look out for more! Always a good seller and a fun thing to collect too!

    I just love old keys too! They are always on my list when I'm out shopping. I found 5 cool old keys on a key ring this week at an antique shop for $1.00....that doesn't happen much anymore!

    I love old keys too and keep trying to come up with new uses for them. They are getting harder to find so your ring of 5 for $1.00 was a great find. Love your jewelry!

    I too just adore old keys...I have them lying in transferware bone dishes, hanging from jute and often wear around my neck using crocheted lace as the necklace. Your jewelry is so unique and vintage. Thanx for sharing. Tiff
