Another awesome birthday gift!

I finally connected with a friend of mine that I hadn't seen for a couple weeks and she gave me an awesome belated birthday gift!! This amazing, huge cookie jar from an old bakery that went out of business... filled with these just as awesome homemade sugar cookies!! I LOVE IT!!!
It looks great on my new island!

They are delicious!
I keep catching my hubby with his hand in the cookie jar!!!

So thoughtful and unique!

She knows I used to collect cookie jars, most of which I have parted with, but this one is different and now so special to me as it came from my dear friend!

Now, the challenge is to keep it filled with something just as yummy!

Gotta love those birthday presents!!!

  1. What a thoughtful gift! The cookie jar is wonderful...and the cookies look so good!

  2. That really is a nice cookie jar! And for her to go the extra mile and fill it with cookies -- Awesome! What a sweet friend. That's the kind of person I want to be, but fall so terribly short.

  3. How nice of your friend to give you something that
you really love and to fill it up too....WOW!!!
At least you can share your present with others
whose hands might be found inside of it.

  4. YUMM...what a wonderful gift, I used to have one just like it...sold it when I had a shop in Florida...wish I was there right now as this storm moves in on us...stay warm!

  5. I LoVe Sweets!!! What a thoughtful gift... AND I'm eyeing that white chippy scale in the background!!!
    Jeanine, ChiPPy!-SHaBBy!
P.S. How's the SNOW by you???

  6. What a terrific gift! And those cookies will supply some needed carbs for making it thru the big blizzard! :)

  7. Awesome vintage cookie jar. Think of the possibilities of what you could keep in there when those yummy cookies are gone;-)

I truly appreciate each and every word!! Thanks for stopping by!!
