Tiny Whites

They say that good things come in small packages! Well, I would have to agree with that! Some of my collections have tiny little parts that are my favorite things in the whole collection! Like this little piece of pottery that stands a mere 3" tall ~ so sweet!
My pincushion lady (which by the way, I dropped once and had to glue back together!) But she survived and I like to tuck her into my vignettes!
This little sheep is a reproduction and reminds me of my greatest case of "sellers remorse"!!
I once found a med. sized ziploc bag of German Putz sheep-some of which were a fairly large size-for just a few dollars at garage sale! I sold all of them and made some really good money, but I would give it all back to get those sheep back!! They are getting so hard to find and are very expensive!

Darling little vintage spool of crochet cotton...

transferware creamer...

dolly-sized creamers

My favorite transferware pattern in yummy brown...

and a single serving salt button bouquet! Sometimes just a simple, little embellishment goes a long way in a vignette! I am sharing these with you today for White Wednesday with Faded Charm!! Thanks for stopping by!!

  1. Darling photos of darling things! I get so redundant, I know, but I love the brown transferware! I'm starting to be less retail minded and holding on to more special things. I've got my regrets too! It's a peculiar little pain. White happiness to you! Jacqueline

  2. Hi Julie-didn't mean to offend you or your husband-my husband has been a director with the Soil and Water Conservation, is a director on Farm Bureau, and has been a habitat conservationalist for years-he's also been a no-till farmer since he graduated from the U of Illinois in 1982. We've been married for over 16 years. I respect him, but don't always agree with him. He has farmed alone for the last several years since the passing of his father and only farms around 800 acres. I just know what I see happening in our area and what has happened on the farms he manages. It's just my opinion and feel strongly about it. When I wrote those things about myself, I knew I would get some opposition, but felt I had to be true to myself. I could have chosen silly things to put as my seven things, but those things are just dear to my heart. Again, didn't mean to offend you in any way. I love blogging and all the people I meet!

  3. All sorts of beautiful whites. I love all of the transferware, especially the one with the brown. And I go crazy for any kind of old wood spool and thread (it's even better when it's white thread).
    Happy WW
