I am feeling inspired today by the gorgeous transferware platter that I recently purchased this past weekend. I will eventually be adding it to my collection in the cupboard in my living room. But, for now, I have been enjoying adding some fall elements to it and have it displayed in my dining room.
As my transferware collection grows, I may have to find a new home for my dozen cast iron doorstops! {at least its a dozen for now!}

The plates on the top shelf are green and beautiful!!
Maybe I should focus on one color or one pattern--or maybe NOT cuz that's no fun!!

Julie,
ReplyDeleteI have a large collection of transferware, in all colors, green, brown, blue, red and mulberry. I can't believe people got to eat off such lovely dishes.
I loved your booth at the flea market last Saturday. I noticed in your photos that you have penny rug and wool applique pieces. That is a favorite hobby of mine as well. I love the cloche I purchased from you on Saturday. I have to find just the right object to put in it.
Hi Julie~ SO beautiful! I'm finding that I am really attracted to brown transferware lately, too, and am thinking of switching my hutch over to it, too! I love your doorstops, too!
ReplyDeleteYour collection is delicious. (Are you coming to Elkhorn Sunday? Will you come if I tell you that I'm bringing some brown t'ware???...!!!)

Hi Julie,
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous collection of transferware that you have!! I have just a couple of brown vintage pieces that were handed down to me and I love them!! My love though is vintage white ironstone, but I really like how my brown transferware looks mixed with the ironstone. Maybe I'll have to start a new collection.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and for becoming a new friend, I so appreciate it!! It is such a pleasure to meet you!!
I love your blog and will be back often!
Have a great day.
Sincerely,
Melinda
Your transfer ware is so pretty! I love the collection! I have a couple of pieces I will be bringing out for fall.

Julie, you know how much I really love your transferware. The "aesthetic movement" pieces that you have are just amazing. I can't find them around here, I have just one dinner plate, Kenilworth, but I love it. Thanks so much for linking up this week!

Hi Julie,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful transferware! I just have a couple of pieces (a brown cream and sugar bowl) and I just love them. The platter you got this week is a great piece for some fall decorating.
